weather update…

summer is doing fine… I guess..

autumn is coming closer…. I hope so…

I’ve been beach bumming these past weekends and man do I really enjoy them…

I feel good…

A lot better than I’ve ever been.  It feels great to have someone who takes time replying to your messages haha…

at least now, my phone’s not that useless anymore hehe… I would finally see my phone bill raising again… Hope this lasts for a while… hopefully longer…

I’m back to reading books, currently taking on Nicholas Sparks’s Message In A Bottle…  yeah that’s the hopeless romantic in me working…

a little pondering again…

pasts…. they are stepping stones… individual parts that make up the staircase you are on now… they are the reason why you are where you are right now… the past is there, was there, for one good reason: for you to step on it and bring yourself to the next level…

so don’t bring the past back to life… don’t mess it up with the present… Imagine taking that past step, carrying it to where you are right now… You just took one step away from the foundation that holds up your staircase… Goodluck, see you on the ground, and hope that you don’t break any bone as you fall…

the past, the same as the present, is a gift, use it wisely and to your advantage…

it’s been a while…

since my last meaningful post here… oh well… lately, I have lost and gained a lot in this journey I am taking.  And honestly, there’s just so much going on in my head that I really can’t think of what to really write about…

well let’s give it a shot…

fate, destiny, or whatever you want to call it…  I believe that we write our own of it.  I don’t like the idea of everything is already written ahead of you.  Because if that’s true then what’s the sense of living without having the chance of making your own choices that would not necessarily going to satisfy what was predetermined in the future?  If ever it is true that something is already written for you then I think we still have the power to overwrite it.  Because I think one of the greatest gifts that God has bestowed on us is the gift of “free will”.

It is our own and nobody can ever take it away from us (unless He is God and that you’ve done something really shitty that pissed Him off).

So with free will we write our own fate.  And meeting that significant other really depends on your free will and not on what was written in some prophecy book.

So when do two people become fated for each other?  In my opinion, it is when their free will connects and unites.  When each other’s choices lead them to each other’s arms.

But this theory I have really gets messy when love comes in… hehe.. oh well.. that is something I really don’t have a good grasp of yet… sometimes your heart makes more powerful choices than your brain… and you can’t just run away from it… damn… but at least, that is still some choice you have there hehe…

The future is vague and it really does not make too much sense.  It is what you make of the life you are living today.  So focus on this moment and the choices that you will make.  This moment is the only thing that is truly yours so make the most out of it.
